Willys PETG Filament Printing Tips
- Nozzle Temperature: Start around 240°C. A typical PETG printing range is approximately 230–250°C, but the ideal temperature can vary by printer and filament batch.
- Bed Temperature: Start around 80°C. PETG commonly prints with a heated bed in the 70–90°C range.
- For the best results, fine-tune nozzle and bed temperatures based on your printer, build surface, print speed, and desired layer adhesion.
- Keep part cooling relatively low, especially during the first few layers, to help promote strong layer adhesion.
- If you're unsure of the ideal nozzle temperature, print a temperature tower to compare results across different temperatures.
- PETG readily absorbs moisture, so keep the filament sealed and dry with desiccant when not in use. If print quality deteriorates, drying the filament may help restore consistent extrusion.
