Advanced Dual-Nozzle Printing

The X2D uses two specialized extrusion systems that work together. The main direct-drive nozzle handles primary model material with precise extrusion control, while the auxiliary nozzle can handle secondary or support materials, giving you greater flexibility for complex multi-material projects.

Multi-Material Printing With Dedicated Support Filament

One of the biggest advantages of the X2D is the ability to dedicate the auxiliary nozzle to support material while the main nozzle prints the model. This makes it easier to create complex geometries and use different compatible materials within the same project.

AMS 2 Pro Included

The X2D AMS Combo includes an AMS 2 Pro for automated filament management. The AMS 2 Pro holds up to four filament spools and supports automatic filament switching, sealed filament storage, temperature and humidity monitoring, and filament drying capabilities.

256 × 256 × 260mm Main-Nozzle Build Volume

The main nozzle provides a 256 × 256 × 260mm build volume, giving the X2D plenty of room for functional parts, prototypes, figurines, organizers, mechanical components, and other everyday or professional projects.

When using the auxiliary nozzle or both nozzles together, the shared printing area is smaller because of the dual-nozzle design.

65°C Actively Heated Chamber

The X2D features an actively heated chamber that can reach up to 65°C. This creates a more controlled environment for compatible engineering materials such as ABS, ASA, and nylon while helping reduce warping and improve layer adhesion.

Adaptive Chamber Cooling

The chamber can also operate in cooling mode, bringing fresh air into the printer and removing warm air. This provides extra cooling when working with materials such as PLA and when printing bridges and overhangs.

300°C Maximum Nozzle Temperature

With a maximum nozzle temperature of 300°C, the X2D supports a broad range of compatible everyday and engineering-grade 3D printing materials.

31-Sensor Monitoring System

The X2D uses 31 sensors to monitor the filament feeding path, thermal environment, and printer safety status. This extensive sensor system detects potential problems and makes the printing process more reliable and automated.

Three-Stage Air Filtration

The enclosed X2D features a three-stage filtration system consisting of a G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA filter, and coconut-shell activated carbon filter to help manage particles and emissions generated during printing.

Quiet Printing Below 50dB

Active motor noise canceling and a noise-optimized air duct help keep the X2D below 50dB under typical operating conditions, making it better suited for workspaces where printer noise matters.
