Bambu 3D Printer X2D
Bambu Lab X2D 3D Printer brings advanced dual-nozzle printing to a compact enclosed platform designed for creative, functional, and multi-material projects. Its main direct-drive nozzle handles the primary model material, while a dedicated auxiliary nozzle handles secondary or support material, simplifying complex prints and reducing post-processing for supported surfaces.
Bambu Lab X2D Features
Advanced Dual-Nozzle Printing
The X2D features two specialized extrusion systems designed to work together. The main direct-drive nozzle focuses on precise model printing, while the auxiliary nozzle can handle secondary or support materials for more flexible multi-material projects.
Dedicated Support Material Printing
Use the main nozzle for your model and the auxiliary nozzle for a compatible support material. Separating these jobs between two nozzles can make supports easier to remove while helping produce cleaner supported surfaces on complex models.
256 × 256 × 260mm Main-Nozzle Build Volume
The main nozzle provides a 256 × 256 × 260mm build volume, giving you room for functional parts, prototypes, figurines, organizers, mechanical components, and other everyday or professional projects. For an additional or replacement build surface, pair the printer with the Bambu Dual-Texture PEI Plate X2D.
The available print area is smaller when using the auxiliary nozzle or both nozzles together because of the dual-nozzle architecture.

65°C Actively Heated Chamber
The X2D features an actively heated chamber capable of reaching up to 65°C. The controlled chamber environment helps support compatible engineering materials that benefit from elevated and stable printing temperatures.
Adaptive Chamber Cooling
The intelligent thermal system can also bring cooler outside air into the chamber when printing materials such as PLA. This helps provide additional cooling for overhangs, bridges, and other detailed areas of a model.
300°C Maximum Nozzle Temperature
With a maximum nozzle temperature of 300°C, the Bambu Lab X2D supports a broad selection of compatible everyday and engineering-focused 3D printing materials. For a replacement or additional general-purpose hotend, the Bambu X2D Standard Flow 0.4mm Hardened Steel Hotend provides a versatile balance of print detail, material flow, and wear resistance.
AI-Powered Print Monitoring
Built-in cameras and intelligent monitoring help detect potential printing problems. The system can check the build plate before printing and monitor for issues such as spaghetti, nozzle clumping, and purge-chute jams during a project.
31-Sensor Monitoring System
The X2D uses 31 sensors to monitor areas including the filament feeding path, thermal environment, and printer safety status. This extensive sensor network helps automate the printing process and identify potential problems.
Three-Stage Air Filtration
The enclosed X2D features a three-stage filtration system consisting of a G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA filter, and coconut-shell activated carbon filter to help manage airborne particles and odors generated during printing.
Quiet Printing Below 50dB
Active motor noise canceling and an optimized air duct help keep the X2D below 50 dB under typical operating conditions, making it suitable for workspaces where reducing printer noise is important.

Multi-Color Printing With the Bambu Lab X2D
The X2D supports multi-color printing and can be expanded with compatible Bambu Lab AMS equipment for automated filament management. The dual-nozzle architecture can also help reduce unnecessary filament purging by allowing different printing tasks to be assigned to separate nozzles. For compatible expanded AMS configurations, the Bambu Filament Track Switch for AMS helps manage filament routing between the AMS system and printer.
Important: An AMS is not included with the standard Bambu Lab X2D. Choose the Bambu Lab X2D AMS Combo if you want the printer bundled with an automatic material system.
Why Choose the Bambu Lab X2D?
The Bambu Lab X2D is a strong option for makers who want to move beyond traditional single-nozzle 3D printing. Its dedicated main and auxiliary extrusion systems make complex support and multi-material projects easier to manage, while the 65°C actively heated chamber, 300°C nozzle, intelligent monitoring, and advanced filtration provide a versatile platform for both creative and functional printing.
